Hi Alison,
Dell and Buzz are both doing well. The vet checked Buzz's stifle out and
apparently the locking of the stifle is quite common and as long as he is warmed
up gently before being asked to do any serious work then there shouldn't be any
problems with it. His bunny hopping in canter has improved a lot since you came
out so things seem to have settled there. And no more bucking or broken arms!
Dell has been fine and we've been enjoying some different outings lately
alongside the usual dressage and jumping competitions. In the past month or so
we've made it to the beach (4am start - yuk! but well worth it when we got
there) and yesterday we went cross-country schooling for the first time and by
the end of the session she was flying over ditches and through water like a
right pro. I'm planning a 15 mile sponsored ride in a couple of weeks time so
that should be a right laugh.
Both horses seem fit and healthy.
